A sketch from my new sketchbook! Needed a new one desperatly, but couldn't find the dummies i always used. I bought a a6 dummy for travels and instant inspirations, love to work on this small size paper. I'll be updating my blog soon for more projects I've been doing. X

I'm having a good, busy month with a lot of work. Just this week I had two animation deadlines which I really enjoyed working on. And last week my head was full of poses I wanted to draw so I did some quick sketches in my dummy. In those three days I filled my sketchbook up to half. Here is two of the sketches I made, scanned and redrew. It's just some simple sketches, but I just wanted to draw :)

Animation Klokhuis deel 2

another animation I worked on. This one I did with 2 other animators.
The animation is called Shampoo Scheten (Shampoo Farts) I did the designs of the characters. The idea behind those two boys is that they look cute and a little bit insane. I gave them big eyes with little pupils. Also, I gave them a bit animal look. The boy with black hair has a more cat-look, the boy with the blond hair looks a bit like a rabbit. I did the animation for the second boy a well.

Finished!

We've finished our project a few weeks ago, I'm happy with the results. And most of all, I can spend my vacation doing NOTHING. Well, not exactly nothing, I'm still going to improve my skills this summer.

We made some animations, they explain some games which children can play. Here are some artwork for the schoolproject I made:

It was really fun, I've been staying too much at home lately. But as always, there are deadlines...

PS: our hair doesn't look like this anymore. She got really long hair and mine is short now!

school is closed, so I'm still working on my animation. I'm also working on ten other things like my art skills. I want to work with collage-techniques to make some awesome art -and background work. For example, check Shaun Tan and Alberto Cerriteño , They're are amazing!

Hai! I'm really busy at the moment with my stop motion. And ofcourse, I'm making the the backgrounds at our school, so I have to make it between the school hours. In my spare time, I'm making my showreel (which I shall post next week). And I scanned some of my old work. I like these illustrations, so to conserve them, I'll put them on my blog :)
